Beyond Born Again

About this ministry

Who we are, how a session works, and what to expect.

My story

“I confessed Christ and was baptized at about thirteen, then went back to the world. It took me decades to see how lost I was and the battle I had been ignoring. I prayed generic prayers and hoped for the best. I was unarmed cannon fodder in a bloody war. Then, through guidance from strong, experienced spiritual warriors, Jesus began to show me who I am in Him, and what He had given me to fight with. Now my mission is to keep growing as a spiritual warrior, to help others in their spiritual struggles, and to train those willing to pick up their cross and fight the good fight for God’s Kingdom.”

— David

The problem: doors we leave open

Jesus described an unclean spirit leaving a man, then trying to return to “my house” (Matthew 12:43-45). Think of your life as that house. Demons need a way in. They come through doors that we or our families have left open, and they stay while those doors stay open (Ephesians 4:27). Open doors include, but are not limited to:

  • Unforgiveness, bitterness, and hatred (Matthew 6:15)
  • Sin we have never truly repented of
  • Sexual sin and ungodly soul ties
  • Addictions and compulsions
  • Trauma, rejection, abuse, and trauma bonds
  • Occult practices, sorcery, oaths, and secret vows
  • Curses passed down family lines, or spoken over us by others or by ourselves

Guard your eye-gates and ear-gates. Our eyes and ears are gates into our minds and souls. What we watch and listen to, including entertainment and secular music, is one of the widest doors of all.

Closing these doors is our choice to make. We choose to forgive, repent, and renounce, and Jesus gives us the power and authority to carry it out. Then demons lose their right to stay, and in His name they must go.

What a session looks like

Most of a session is you repeating short prayers and commands after the minister. That way you learn to pray and command in Jesus’ name yourself, using the same authority He gives every believer (Luke 10:19).

  1. Anchorwho you are in Christ
  2. Forgivethose who hurt you
  3. Repentof sin that opened doors
  4. Renounceevery agreement with darkness
  5. Commanddemons to leave, in Jesus’ name
  6. Fillwith the Holy Spirit
  7. Blessand send out in freedom

What to know

It is Jesus who sets you free

A minister authorized by Jesus, through faith and the power of the Holy Spirit, helps you tear down barriers in your relationship with God, leading to abundant life filled with the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

Confidential and voluntary

Nothing happens without your agreement, and what you share stays private. Jesus already knows you more intimately than you can imagine (Psalm 139:1-4).

Always free

There is no charge, ever. Jesus told His followers, “Freely you received, so freely give” (Matthew 10:8). God will provide.

Partners with your church

Our heart is not to come against churches, but to partner with their shepherds to build up their flocks, from lambs to lions.

The Holy Spirit is still moving

The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in those who belong to Him (Romans 8:11). He still heals, frees, speaks, and leads. Jesus said believers would do His works, and even greater ones (John 14:12). Freedom is where you begin to see and hear Him more clearly, and to live in relationship with Him and in His blessing.

“Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1
